What are the passing marks in AIOU exams?

According to the revised formula, it is not mandatory to obtain passing marks in assignment/ practical and other components. After autumn, 2021, however, the passing marks i.e. 50% will be mandatory in the final examinations.

What happens if assignments are not submitted to AIOU?

If AIOU assignments are not handwritten from matriculation to BA level and have not been uploaded to a portal containing M.A to M.Ed, the student will not pass. Because now the rule is that the student will be passed on the basis of 50% assignments and 50% exam marks. If you fail with assignments, the student also fails the exams, has to repeat the entire semester, pay the fees again.

When is your result declared and when is your degree completed?

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has a two-year degree term for matriculation, FA and BA.It has four semesters, each semester is 6 months. Assignments have to be submitted in these 6 months, the admission fee for the next semester has to be paid before giving the first semester papers, thus completing four semesters.
